Tas Philas women's ministry meets each month
from September to May. Goodies are served
and each meeting includes a special presentation related to women
and their relationship with Christ.
Our theme for 2008-2009 is Take the Plunge - RIde the Wave . We encourage all ladies to join us as we get to know Our Heavenly Father in a more intimate way.

Make plans to attend the 7th Annual Ladies' Retreatin April, 2009. This is an extraordinary weekend of girlfriend-time which includes service opportunities, shopping, good food, a time of worship, and much more. Register in the FBCH Church Office.

The Tas Philas Tea Basket Ministry is an outreach arm of Tas Philas. Tea baskets are taken to ladies in our church and community who are in the hospital, have a close relative in the hospital or have suffered a loss and are in need of a visit. If you know of someone in need of a basket and a visit, please contact June Toogood, our Tea Basket Coordinator.
Tas Philas's Prayer Ministry maintains an email prayer chain . If you would like to be added to the email list or have a prayer request please contact Jill Budd in the FBC Church Office.

The Fourth Annual Showcase, "Celebrating Women", was held in the First Baptist Church Harlingen Gymnasium on Saturday, August 25, 2007, from 9:00am to 1:00pm Open to all women, valley-wide, the Showcase featured community resources and a taste of pampering for all. Please contact Jill Budd if you are interested in hosting a booth in 2008.
